Dear Sir Nagi Elabbasi,
A pleasant day to you Sir.
I would like to consult this problem that I'm having at the moment thinking that you can help me with this matter.
Presently, I am doing a 3D simulation of the mass and thermal transfer in rice grains.
The intent of this study is to monitor the reduction of moisture in the 186 pieces of grains.
The boundary condition set for the transport of the diluted species were set at 28 % as the initial condition and 12 % as the final condition.
The physics that I'm using is a couple of conjugate heat transfer and transport of diluted species.
The solution in the coupled analysis reached convergence.
There are no problems on the solution of the velocity profile, velocity field and temperature distribution.
However, when i did the volumetric integration of the concentration, the initial value of the solution is not equivalent to the initial boundary condition.
The solution predicted to have the initial concentration of around 22 %, not 28%.
I am attaching the mph file as as well as the Excel file for calculation of the concentration for you to have a look.
I tried using boundary layer mesh but the computation time is excessively slow as if the software is no longer running.
Should this matter not within your field of expertise, please refer me to someone in your office.
Thank you very much.
Respectfully yours,

The mesh size were remove to reduce the file size. Mesh sizes were set at fine for the grains inside the half cylinder, extra fine for the grains outside the cylinder and the cylinder was finer.
