As I know you are very active in helping the COMSOL users to solve their problems, your help is kindly appreciated if you could help me fix the discontinuity issue presented as follows (I know this may not be related to your field of study but still you may have a solution to that):
I'm trying to simulate Palmer-Mansoori coal permeability model for combination of different Young's modulus and pore pressure. The problem is when I plot Permeability Ratio vs. Pressure, for E=445000psi and fi=0.001, the curve is not complete in spite of having the simulation fully converged. I wonder if this issue is due to the negative values of permeability ratio which are not physically justifiable. I have tried finer mesh and smoothing functions such as flsmhs(x,scale) but they didn't work (I'm not too sure if I applied the smoothing functions properly though). Please find the attachment to see the diagrams.
