I am a beginner in COMSOL and please if someone can help me. I am constructed the tube fi 140 mm (inside diametar) lenght 1m. Outside diametar of the tube is fi 150mm. Mateial of the tube is PMMA. I am set rotary piston with connecting rod in centar of the tube. Dimension of piston fi 136mm L=10cm & dimension of connecing rod is fi 10mm & L=0,5m. Material of piston and connecting rod is steel. Through the tube flow water around rotary piston with connecting rod. On the free side of the tube is the inlet plane of water, who flow around piston and connecting rod. Outlet is with environment pressure but inlet is variable speed of water from 0 to 0.2 m / s. For physics I am chosen "Rotating Machinery, Laminar Flow" but I dont know where can I define inlet velocity depend of time.
I am forget that I`m define water domain fi 140 L= 1m without deducting of piston - connecting rod domain. Is this correctly?
