I am currently modeling the same scenario like the one that you mentioned in your post.
1)I was thinking about defining the MRF fluid by inputting experimental data for dynamic viscosity vs. field as a fluid property. this should simulate the effect of increased viscosity during the flow.
2)At the same time I was thinking about including the magnetic force effect by defining a volume force on the area where the magnet is located.
I am currently troubleshooting the errors that I am getting from this method.
have you had any progress with your modeling?
