As is known to all, the acoustic waves propagating in the duct could be decomposed into multiple modes. The lowest mode is plane wave and other modes are higher-order mode which have the form of bessel function. The problem is how to set the boundary settings of the inlet and outlet of the tube when I want to simulate the propagation of acoustic higher-order mode waves. I tried myself and the result did not seem well, and Google only provide the cases of plane waves. Would anybody experienced with Acoustics Module please help solve the problem? Many thanks.
