Solid Particle motion in microchannel

Hi,

I'm currently working on a project where I need to simulate the thermal effects that a moving particle has on a surrounding moving fluid due to a heater situated at the base of a microchannel.

For the fluid motion, I am using the example of a moving particle in a fluid domain in which the particle is a hole. However, I do no delete the domain inside the particle as I need it to see how the heat transfer from the heater affects it and subsequently the surrounding medium. I am using the conjunctive heat transfer physics to perform this simulation and have been unsuccessful in getting it to converge. If you would have any tips for me or any other potential methods I should look into would be very helpful. Thanks.
